Original Framed Disney The Aristocats 1970 Duchess And Her Kittens Sericel 1994
This is a sericel from Walt Disneys full length animated feature film The Aristocats (1970). It is one of a series of selected limited-edition, screen-printed recreations of original artwork from the Disney animated film. It was produced in 1994, only 5000 sericels were generated. This sericel, Duchess and her Kittens is from Sequence 2, Scene 116 of The Aristocats, where Duchess is gently scolding her kittens for teasing Edgar the butler, not knowing that Edgar is secretly putting sleeping pills in their food in the hopes of sabotaging their promised inheritance. This sericel was a Christmas gift many years ago. It is in excellent condition. The backing has a small rip in one corner (see close-up photo) which in no way affects its appearance or ability to be displayed. It would make an incredible Christmas gift for a fan of The Aristocats.
As you can see the words Snow White are written on the box - my boyfriend had a great sense of humor and I have a vivid memory of seeing that as soon as I ripped the wrapping paper off and trying not to look disappointed, and then being thrilled when I opened the box to find Duchess and her kittens instead!
