Vintage Duff Tweed Wood Carved Sailor Figure Walt Disney Artist Original Signed
Giving Antique and Vintage Collectibles a New Home! Duff Tweed was a Walt Disney Artist but his hobby was always wood carvings. This one is in good vintage condition. The left foot has a crack in it that goes all the way through, so I'm not sure if it is a repair or done at the time he carved it.
The top of the shoe appears to be the original paint and not repair work. Issue that I can see is on the canvas where there are some spots. The frame is in good condition with marks that would be consistent with age. Overall it is in very nice. The frame measures 21 3/4"x 15 3/4".The figure measures 15 1/2"x 9".
