The Walt Disney Company has issued this series of historic photographic prints depicting special moments with Walt Disney in the development and growth of his dream, Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. Each photograph has been reproduced in a special individually numbered print run of only 500 copies. By 1959, Disneyland had welcomed approximately 20 million Guests from all over the globe.

In response to the Park's popularity, several new attractions were added in this year, including the first functioning monorail in the western hemisphere. At first, it only traveled over Tomorrowland, but in 1961 the track was extended to reach the Disneyland Hotel.
