Original Courvoisier Production Cel, created by Disney during the production of'Pinocchio', 1940. Mad e in 1939, Walt Disney's classic film Pinocchio was the studio's second ever feature film and continues to warm the hearts of audiences even 84 years later. This original production'cel' or celluloid would have been used in the original production process after an animators' original drawing was traced onto a sheet of transparent plastic and hand-painted in colour. It would have then been projected in front of a hand-painted background via a multiplane camera to create a minute yet crucial movement in the final film.

Now mounted and framed, this piece is the perfect way to add a sophisticated and muted touch of Disney magic to your home. The original Courvoisier Galleries frame measures 11.5 inches in length x 13.5 inches in height, the outside cel measures 4.9 inches in length and 5.75 inches in height, with a width of 5 inches.
