This rare "Mary Poppins" artwork is hand signed by its stars, Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, and comes exquisitely, professionally matted and framed by Disney with a Disney Certificate of Authenticity. This is number 359 in a limited edition of 500. Produced by Disney Art Classics, this cel set-up entitled "Tea Time With Mary" depicts scene 62 of the film, made from the original Disney animation drawings.
Released in 1964, "Mary Poppins" earned immediate acclaim, with nominations for 13 Academy Awards including "Best Picture", "Best Actress" for Julie Andrews and "Best Visual Effects"; it was the only Disney film to be nominated for "Best Picture" in Walt Disney's lifetime. The cel measures 17.75" x 11.5", and is matted and framed to 26.5" x 20". The original Disney Certificate of Authenticity is in a small pouch on the reverse side. The seal has been opened at some point, but the document contained is untouched and intact. Please see pictures for details and verification.
