One of the favorite Disney traditions is the annual Christmas card sent to Company employees and their families each year. The first official Disney Card was produced in 1931 and the tradition continues today. This card, from Christmas 1934, shows Mickey leading a snowy symphonic orchestra that Includes Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow and Goofy hitting the high notes for songstresses Minnie and Clara Cluck. Donald Duck does a jig and Pluto barks along in this collaboration of cheer and goodwill. This card was Walt Disney's greeting to his staff, thanking each of them for a year of great work.
Made exclusively for the Walt Disney Gallery, this framed enamel pin set celebrates the Walt Disney Studio Christmas Card from 1934. The pins are exquisitely made and capture the charm of the original artwork.
Depicting Mickey, Minnie, Horace, Clara Cluck and Clarabelle, the pins are featured against the card's background art which includes Donald and Pluto still making merry after all these years.
